Vicki Finders

Vicki Johnson was born June 17, 1943 to Clifford and Virginia (Schmidt) Johnson
in Ida Grove, Iowa, where she was reared and educated. She graduated from
Ida Grove High School and Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa where she received a
degree in education with an emphasis in General Business.

On June 4, 1966 Vicki was united in marriage to David Finders in Ida Grove.

She taught school for fifteen years in Atlantic, Iowa before moving to Williston
in 1982. Since arriving in Williston she had been employed with the
Junior High School as a bookkeeper and secretary.

Vicki loved performing, whether it be singing, dancing or acting. She was an
energetic and loyal volunteer and friend and will be dearly missed by the many
friends and organizations she leaves behind.

She was a charter member of the Entertainment, Inc! Community theater, and served
for many years on its Board of Directors, was a Past President and
currently Treasurer. The Miss North Dakota Pageant was a beneficiary of many services
Vicki provided as an original Board of Directors' member, treasurer, and currently,
Executive Director. She was a frequent traveling companion to numerous
Miss North Dakotas as they journeyed to Atlantic City to compete. Vicki performed and
competed with the Dance Factory Mamas at regional and national competitions, and also
taught for the Community Adult Education Program. She attended New Hope Wesleyan
Church where she was a member ofthe music and drama groups.

Vicki is survived by her husband, David, of Williston;
her sons, Zack of Minneapolis, MN, Aaron, Josh, and Blain, all of Williston;
her brother, Gary Johnson and his wife, Deborah, of Murfreesboro, TN;
and her sister, Patricia Downs and her husband, Claire, of Eyota, MN;
and several nieces and nephews.

Riverview Cemetery - Williston, North Dakota

Everson Funeral Home - Williston, North Dakota
