| Stella Exe, 103 of Austin, died
Saturday, Dec 30, 2006, at Our House. She was born Aug. 20, 1903 to Carl and Andrina (Gilbertson) Juelson in rural Hayfield, Minn. She had two older brothers, Milo and Adin Juelson. Stella attended school through the eighth grade in a one room country schoolhouse. While attending Hayfield High School, she worked at Lunde's Café as a waitress. Later she moved to Rochester where she worked at the Worrell Hospital. She married Benjamin Exe, and they had two daughters. After Benjamin passed away, Stella had a special friend for many years, Bob Wentzel. Survivors include two daughters; Maxine Lundene, of Austin; and Delora (Robert) Boomgard, of Austin; niece, Verna (Virgil) Schieck of Austin; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Andrina Juelson; her husband, Benjamin; brothers: Milo (Julia) and Adin Juelson; and a son-in-law, Curtis Lundene. A private family service will be held at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin. Interment: Fairview Cemetery - Hayfield, Minnesota |
