Robert O. Logan
Funeral Memoriam
October 11, 1918 - March 16, 1997

Robert O. Logan was born October 11, 1918 in Williston to Chester and Stella (Ott) Logan.
He was raised here and attended local schools.

After completing his education he began farming and later joined the Civilian Conservation Corps.

On October 23, 1945 he was united in marriage to Sylvia Heller in Sidney, Montana. They
established their home in Williston and have lived here through the many succeeding years.

Mr. Logan was an accomplished automotive mechanic and worked for the Norgaard and
Hilling Construction and Claremont Construction Companies in automotive maintenance. He
also did automotive repair work before his retirement sixteen years ago. He was also
interested in hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs Sylvia Logan; two daughters,
Linda McNary of Elko, NV and
Joan Merck and her husband, Craig, of Bismarck;
one son, Lee Logan of Williston;
ten grandchildren, twenty-three great­grandchildren;
two nephews that were especially close, Conrad Sandaker of Laurel, MT and
Russell Sandaker of Evansville, MN;
and several other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one
great-grandson.

Hillside Memory Gardens - Williston, North Dakota
