| Mrs. Regina Larson passed away on Friday, February
19, 1960 at the Pioneer Memorial Home at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 12 days. She was born at Red Wing, Minnesota on November 7, 1875. Was married to Peter Bestul in 1894 at Red Wing. He passed away in 1907. In 1910 she was married to Olaf Larson of Erskine. He passed away on March 8, 1957. She is survived by the following sons and daughters, Mrs. Emma Omang of Bejou; Mrs Mabel Will of Bemidji; Leonard Bestul and Peter Bestul of Winger; Gustaf, Martin and Victor Larson all of Erskine. Three sisters Ingeborg Lesetmoe of Bemidji; Sarah Kappedal of Winger and Hannah Mahlen of Bainville, Montana. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and four sons. Funeral services were held from the Lima Lutheran Church on Wednesday afternoon, February 24 with Rev. Russell Roy officiating. Pallbearers were Clayton Omang, Julius Omang, Kenneth Omang, LeRoy Bestul, Maynard Skeie and Joe Sandberg. Burial will be in the Lima Lutheran cemetery. The Sunset Funeral Service of Erskine was in charge of the arrangements. |
