Funeral Memoriam

| Peder Heller was born December 30, 1916 to John P.
and Mary (Klinestad) Heller on the family farm northwest of Williston in Round Prairie Township where he also attended Round Prairie elementary and Pioneer High School. Upon finishing his education he began work with various service stations in the area. In 1942 he enrolled in the Army Air Corp., serving as a tailgunner in the European and North African Theatres during WWII and was stationed in England. He was honorably discharged in 1945 when he briefly returned to North Dakota. He eventually moved to the west coast where he began work with McDonnel Douglas and would later pursue a career teaching in the aerospace industry for many years. He returned to Williston in the early 1990's and has been residing in Bethel for the last three years. He found pleasure playing pool and cards. He was a proud member of Kiwannis while living in California and the American Legion. Peder is survived by three sons, Dale of Chicago, Lee and Jack of Arroya Grande, CA; his daughter, Mrs. Lynn (Frank) Davis of Arroya Grande; several stepchiIdren and numerous grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Robert (Sylvia) Logan of Williston, Mrs. May Woodhams of Williston, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Harvey of Kent, WA, Mrs. Esther Gifford of Indianapolis, IN, BorghiId Heller of Williston, Mrs. Billy (Ruth) Howell of McHenry, IL and Mrs. Peter (Joyce) Korwin of Bismarck.
