Omar Njos

Omar Njos, 56, lifelong resident of Williams County and Williston
resident since 1967 of 711 14th St West, died Thursday night at
Mercy Hospital.

Funeral Services will be at 3:30 PM Saturday in Our Redeemer's
Lutheran Church. The Rev. Carl G. Nelson will officiate and
interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Mr. Njos was a
member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.

Omar Morris Njos was born June 25, 1921, in Williston to
Edward and Clara Njos. He was raised in Athens Township and
attended school there.

On Oct. 1, 1941, he married Florence B. Mahlen in Sidney, MT.
They established their home in Athens Township until moving to
Williston in 1967.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Ronald, Williston and
Larry, Alexander, ND; eight grandchildren; one sister,
Lucille Wickum, Williston; four brothers,
Myron, Elvin and Lloyd, all of Williston, and
Arnold, Vancouver, Wash. and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Everson Funeral Home until 9:00 PM
Friday and Saturday until 1:30 PM.
