Minnie Njos
Funeral Memoriam
December 5, 1918 - April 25, 2009

Minnie Elvera (Anderson) Njos was born December 5th, 1918
in Milaca, MN to Ernest and Lillian (Kallstrom) Anderson. She
lived in Duxbury, MN and attended her first six grades of school
in a rural school. In 1930, she moved to Blacktail Township where
she finished elementary school. She then attended Williston High
School and graduated in 1936.

In 1937, she married Elvin Njos in Sidney, MT. They lived in
Mount Vernon, WA for four months and then moved back to
Williston and lived there until 1941 when they bought a farm in
Cow Creek Township. In 1949 they moved into the town of
Williston, but continued to farm and spent their summers on the farm
until 1990. Together Minnie and Elvin had seven children.

Minnie was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was a
member of First Lutheran Church. Minnie loved the Lord and her
life was a reflection of her faith.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, pinochle, crossword and jigsaw
puzzles. Minnie was known for her sweet nature, kind heart and a
wonderful sense of humor. she dearly loved time spent with her
children, grandchildren and friends.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Njos,
her parents, Ernest and Lillian, step-father, Peter Hanson, and
three brothers, Harold, Donald and Ervin Anderson.

Those who shared in her life were seven children:
Darrell and his wife, Della Njos of Bismark, ND;
Bonnie Ralph of Hot Springs, MT:
James Njos of Denver, CO;
David and his wife, Mary Njos of Williston, ND;
Mike and his wife, Lea Njos of Bellingham, WA;
Shelly and her husband, Bob Quackenbush of Williston, ND;
Mark Njos of Williston, ND;
along with nine grandsons, six granddaughters, seven great grandsons,
nine great granddaughters and two great great granddaughters.

Interment:
Riverview Cemetery, Williston, ND
