Funeral Memoriam
July 1, 1937 - May 5, 1997

Mildred Mahlen was born July 1, 1937 to parents, Bernt and Annie (Hedman) Mahlen
on a farm in rural McIntosh, Minnesota. She grew up in Erskine and graduated from
Erskine High School in 1955.

Mildred was united in marriage to Donald Hamre September 16, 1955 on the Mahlen
farm, rural Erskine. She worked at American State Bank in Erskine for 30 years.

Milly was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine, singing in the Grace
Choir, an officer in Grace W.E.L.C.A. and a member of Rebecca Circle. She was
also a member of the Birthday Club and the Jolly 14 Homemakers and loved gardening,
sewing, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mildred Hamre passed away Monday, May 5, 1997 at First Care Hospital in Fosston,
Minnesota at the age of 59.

Survivors include her husband Donald Hamre of Erskine, three children;
David (Patti) Hamre of Erskine; Marcy (Greg) Reid of Rosemount, Minnesota and
Susan (Tony) Trinko of Colorado Springs, Colorado; six grandchildren: Tiffany and
Melissa Hamre; Annie and Alexandra Reid and Olivia and David Trinko; two sisters:
Aimee Ness of Erskine and Betty Cooper of Frazee, Minnesota;
sister-in-law Ila Mahlen of Erskine and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Levi Mahlen and two
brothers-in-law, Robert Ness and Jim Cooper.

Interment:
Fairview Cemetery - Rural Erskine, Minnesota
