| Lucille Wickum was born November 24, 1909 to Edward
and (Clara Ellingson) Njos on the family farm in Williams County. She attended school in Athens Township. On September 10, 1933, Lucille married Elvin Wickum. They lived in Montana for twelve years until moving back to Williston in 1948. For twenty years Lucille was employed at Williston High School as a cook. She retired in 1980. She loved spending time in her yard and growing flowers. Lucille is survived by five children: Elton of Merced, California; Sanford and Inga of Merced, California; Warren of Scappoose, Oregon; Carol and Loy of Liberty Lake, Washington; and Roger and Rita of Williston, North Dakota; thirteen grandchildren: Gail, Lyndon, Wendell, Garvin, Loren, Jason, Jim, Kevin, Hallie, Jackie, Travis, Bill and Ryan; seventeen great grandchildren; one brother, Elvin and Minnie Njos of Williston; and two sisters-in-law: Florence Norby and Elena Njos of Williston. Preceding her in death were her husband, Elvin; four brothers, Lloyd, Omar, Myron, and Arnold Njos; and two sisters-in-law: Violet and Millie Njos.
