Louis O. Heggen
Obituary

Tuesday, October 15, 1946

Louis O. Heggen, 87 of 2801 E. Grand Ave, died Monday
at his home after a six week illness.

Born in Norway, Mr. Heggen had lived in Des Moines for
70 years. He was a shoe merchant and repairman for many
years.

Mr. Heggen was a member of Mission Covenant Church.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Dahlstrom
Funeral Home with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Surviving are one son, Carl J, Des Moines; three daughters,
Elin Heggen, Mrs. Frances Christensen and Mrs Esther
Gustafson, all of Des Moines; eight grandchildren and one
great grandchild.
