| Mrs. Lillian Johnson, 72, a lifelong resident of
Williams County, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1982, at the Bethel Lutheran Home in Williston. Funeral services were Saturday, Oct 16, 1982 at 4 p.m. at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church, Williston, with Revs. Ray Melheim and James Peterson officiating. Burial was at Riverview Cemetery, Williston. The daughter of Alfred and Hannah Mahlen, Lillian Mahlen was born April 6, 1910, in Round Prairie Township, Williams County. She was reared and educated at Round Prairie. she married Ernest Johnson March 29, 1938, at Williston. Mrs. Johnson's survivors include two sons: Alfred and Donald, both of Williston; three daughters: Mrs. Jerry (Elsie) Weber and Mrs. Larry (Linda) Baker, both of Columbia Falls, MT and Melva Taubman of Williston; Five grandchildren; A brother, Syvert Mahlen of Williston and Six sisters: Mrs. Esther Stromme, Mrs. Florence Norby, Mrs. Myrtle Cain - all of Williston; Mrs. Pearl Berwick and Mrs. Ella Vannatta, both of Bainville, MT, and Mrs. Laura Hovland of Bremerton, WA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernest, two sisters and four brothers. |
