| Judythe Bloom was born in Northwood, North Dakota to John and Elena (Nygaard) Bloom on July 18, 1905. She was reared and educated in Plaza and Alamo, North Dakota. On September 9, 1929 Judythe was united in marriage to Harold Scarr in Williston, and to this union four children were born. They made their home in Alamo until 1957 when they moved to Williston. Harold passed away November 6, 1968. Judythe was a homemaker, accomplished seamstress, and worked in sales at Central Drug and Gen Haugen's Youth Shop in Williston. Judythe traveled extensively. On July 22, 1977 Judythe married Ando Holgerson in Williston; Andor died in February of 1979. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and Sons of Norway. Her family was the cornerstone of her life. Judythe is survived by two daughters and their spouses: Elaine and Archie Kress of Minot and Judi and Gary Martin of Glasgow, MT; two sons and their spouses: Hilton and Bea Scarr of Williston and L.E. (Bud) and Betty Scarr of Phoenix, AZ; one sister and her husband, Millie and Herb Hanson of Port Orchard, WA; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lillian Malcomb; two brothers, LeRoy and Edgar Bloom; and one grandson, Terry J. Scarr.
