Mahlen Rites to be Held

Funeral services for Joel B. Mahlen are scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. (MST)
in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bainville, MT. A Rosary will be said
Thursday evening at 8 o'clock.

Mahlen, 55, died in a local hospital Tuesday morning.

He was born in Round Prairie Township, Williams County, on Jan 17, 1909.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Alfred Mahlen of Williston; his widow,
Mrs. Mabel Mahlen of Williston; four daughters:
Miss Eunice Mahlen of Minot,
Mrs. Archie Byre of Glenburn,
Jo Ann and donna of Williston,
two sons:
Ralph of Seattle, WA and
Joey of Williston.
Seven sisters:
Mrs. E. H. Johnson of Williston,
Mrs. Albert Stromme of Zahl,
Mrs. Leonard Vannatta of Bainville,
Mrs. Omar Njos of Williston,
Mrs. Dale French of Williston,
Mrs. Leonard Hovland of Shelby, MT and
Mrs. Dale Berwick of Culbertson, MT and
three brothers:
Ernest of Bainville,
Syvert of Williston and
Fred of Havre, MT.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call Thursday at the Sletten-Erdahl Chapel.
