Jeannie Jordet

Marlys "Jeanie" Jordet, age 56, of Bemidji, MN, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009
after a courageous 14 year battle with cancer at her home.

Marlys Jean Lesetmoe was born November 8, 1952 in Bemidji, MN to
Lyle and Shirley (Moss) Lesetmoe. She grew up and attended school in Bemidji,
graduating from Bemidji High School. She married Steve Carter in April 1971 in
Bemidji. They had two children, Sheila and Steve. In 1982 they purchased the
Corner Bar which they owned and operated. In March of 1989 she purchased
the Grace Lake Store and turned it into MJ's Saloon, which she owned and
operated until the time of her death.

On August 11, 1990 she married Larry Jordet in Bemidji. She enjoyed being
outside, working on her beach and in her flower garden, spending time with her
dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Jordet of Bemidji, MN;
Daughters: Sheila Carter of Bemidji, MN; Kayla Jordet of Olivia, MN;
and Angela Fandel of St. Joseph, MN;
Sons: Steve "Stub" Carter of Bemidji, MN, and Kyle Jordet of Bemidji, MN;
Five Grandchildren: Sister, Tammy Lesetmoe of Duluth, MN:
Brothers: Lyle D. Lesetmoe of Bemidji, MN and Richard Lesetmoe of Duluth, MN:
and her Father, Lyle Lesetmoe of Bemidji, MN.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Lesetmoe and her brother,
Thomas Lesetmoe.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Monday, March 16, 2009 at Calvary Lutheran
Church, Bemidji, MN with Rev. Dean Nelson officiating.

Active Bearers: Rich Kosel, Ed Jens, Eric Mutnansky, Mark Church,
Ron Kaiser and Bobby Lukkason.

Honorary Bearers: All Employees and Customers of MJ's Saloon.

Visitation will be 4-7PM, Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral
Home, Bemidji, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Bemidji, MN.

Arrangement are entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji, MN
