Mrs. Kalstad had lived for the past forty years in the community of which her home was part, and had there reared to manhood and womanhood her large family. She was a deeply devoted wife and mother and a kind and generous neighbor and friends. She was among the old residents of the valley and held in high esteem for many fine qualities by a wide circle of friends. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and a devout worshipper. The deep sympathy of all goes out to the members of her family in their sorrow.
