Hazel Berve

Hazel Bernice Larson was born April 8, 1912 in Ellisville Township,
Williams County the daughter of Nels O. and Catherine (Turck) Larson.
She attended the Ellisville Country School and later moved to
Yakima, Washington where she was enrolled at a business college and
employed at J. C. Penney in Yakima. In 1941 she returned to Williston
where she worked at the local J. C. Penney Store.

Hazel was united in marriage to Ordean Berve on May 30, 1942 in
Zahl, N.D. Ordean entered the US Armed Forces and they lived two years
in San Diego, CA before returning to Williston to make their home. They
both were employed at the Sandvik's Coast- To-Coast Store in Williston
for twenty years. They where longtime members of Our Redeemers Lutheran
Church.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband in 1981, her parents,
a sister and a brother.

She always had compassion for people and spent much of her time helping
shut-ins and children. She loved flowers and kept her home in blossom
with a variety of plants.

Hauge Cemetery - Alamo, North Dakota

Fulkerson Funeral Home - Williston, North Dakota

This individual is not a member of my family, but was a friend of the family.
