Glenn LeRoy Kolden
Funeral Memoriam
June 26, 1928 - January 7, 1998

Glenn LeRoy Kolden was born June 26, 1928 one mile east of Roseglen, ND,
the son of Torger and Ragna (Synsness) Kolden. He was baptized and
confirmed at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Roseglen. Glenn was the
youngest boy of six children.

On September 8, 1957, he was united in marrigage to Hazel Samuelson at
Lignite, ND. They moved to Williston where Glenn was employed with the
ND Department of Transportation in both construction and maintainence
divisions. He worked there from 1955 until 1974 when he was forced to
due to health reasons. In 1979, he became a resident of Bethel Lutheran
Nursing Home where he died on Wednesday, January 7, 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel of Williston; three sons: Gregory of Williston;
Kipton and his wife Rita of Williston, and Michael and his wife Barbara of
Plattsmouth, NE; two daughters: Bonnie Kolden of Minot and Kari Kolden of
Williston; one brother, Melvin Kolden and his wife, Anna Mae of Minot; two
sisters: Agnes Vannatter of Rolla, ND and Harriet Buehler and her husband Paul
of Fairfax, VA; and four grandchildren, Kristopher, Kurtis, Karly and Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Edna Nelson, and one
brother, Elmer Kolden.

Riverview Cemetery - Williston, North Dakota
