| Edward Njos Dies Tuesday Funeral services for Edward J. Njos, 78 of 915 Seventh Avenue West, a pioneer resident of Williams County, who died in a local hospital Tuesday, will be Saturday April 16 at 2 p.m., in Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Hillside Memory Garden, with Rev G. H. Bretheim officiating. Mr. Njos was born July 15, 1881 in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota where he was reared and educated. He was married January 12, 1909 in Willmar, Minnesota to Clara Ellingson, and in the spring of that year they came to North Dakota and homesteaded in Athens Township, Williams County where he farmed until 1944, when he retired and moved to Williston. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. His wife, Clara; one daughter, Mrs. Elvin Wickum (Lucille) of Williston, five sons; Myren of rural Epping; Elvin and Arnold of Williston; Omar and Lloyd, both of rural Williston; 25 grandchildren; four great grand- children survive him. One brother, Albert Njos and a sister, Mrs. Joe Roisum both of Sunburg, Minnesota also survive. Friends may call at the Sletten-Erdahl Funeral home Friday and Saturday mornings. |
