| William Nelson Brunelle was born June 5, 1914 in Williston, North Dakota to Ledger John and Corrine Sauvageau Brunelle. He was raised east of Williston and attended the Twelve Mile School. After the death of his father he remained at home to care for his brothers and sisters. He then attended welding school in Ellendale, ND. and was in the Civilian Conservation Corps. On October 18, 1941 he was united in marriage to Lucy Mae Grimmer in Sidney, Montana. They lived on the family farm east of Williston until 1947 when he purchased his farm west of Williston, which has remained their home through these many succeeding years. He had worked at the Farmers Union Lumber Company for many years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lucy Mae Brunelle, seven sons and their wives; Daniel and Linda Brunelle, James Brunelle, Terry and Judy Brunelle, David and Wendy Brunelle, all of Longview, WA, Keith and Penny Brunelle, Elden and Renae Brunelle, Randy and Paula Brunelle, all of Williston, five daughters and their husbands; Martha and Ronald Njos and Gail Brunelle of Williston, Shirley and Alvin Gohn, Phillis and Ray Hardin of Longview, W A, Kathryn and Ivan Petty of Casper, WY, two brothers, George Brunelle of Kent, WA, Edgar Brunelle of Williston and two sisters, Pelma Grimmer and Delores Stoner, both of Williston, 33 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
