Funeral Memoriam
December 23, 1899 - April 10, 1996

Annie Fredricka Hedman was born December 23, 1899 at McIntosh, Minnesota
to parents Jonas and Lisa (Anderson) Hedman. She was baptized and confirmed
at Salem Lutheran Church, rural McIntosh and attended rural school near her home.

Annie was united in marriage to Bernt Mahlen on November 22, 1922. They resided
on a farm near McIntosh until 1938 when they moved to their farm south of Erskine.
Bernt passed away June 22, 1980 and she continued living on the farm until February
1994 when she entered Pioneer Memorial Care Center, rural Erskine.

Annie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine and was active in Ladies
Aid and Hope Circle.

Annie Mahlen passed away Wednesday, April 10, 1996 at Pioneer Memorial Care
Center, rural Erskine at the age of 96.

Survivors include three daughters: Aimee Ness of Erskine, Betty Cooper of Frazee, MN
and Mildred Hamre and her husband Don of Erskine; one daughter-in-law, Ila Mahlen
of Erskine; ten grandchildren: Michael and Paul Mahlen, Todd and Daniel Ness,
Barbara Jasper, Jody Liddicoat, Scott Cooper, David Hamre, Marcia Reid and
Susan Trinko; 17 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bernt, one son. Levi,
one sister, Christine Seger and three brothers, Oscar, Hilmer and Joseph Hedman.

Our Savior's Lutheran Church Cemetery - McIntosh, Minnesota
