Obituary
A daughter of the late Ole and Inga Wick. She moved with her parents to a homestead near
McGregor, North Dakota, and was raised there until she was 9 years of age, when the family
moved to Noonan. On October 14, 1923, at Noonan, she married Elmer Gerhard Brenno. Shortly
after their marriage they moved to Columbus where he was superintendent of
Montana Dakota Utilities. He died in 1972. She had been active in community and church
affairs at Columbus. A member of First Lutheran Church in Columbus, she taught Sunday
School there for 32 years, active in the ALCW of the church and served as its president
for 12 years. She was also president of the Women's Missionary Federation of the church
for 4 years. Through the years she had sung at over 300 funerals in the Columbus-Noonan
area. For many years she had also been active in the Columbus Improvement League. Well
known for her mistress of ceremonies activities for community activities, she was
frequently called upon to serve in that capacity at community events. For the past 9

Our family deeply appreciates the many acts of love, kindness
and concern expressed to us by all of you at this time. Your
friendship was so valued by Alma in her lifetime. That same
friendship gives us great strength now.

This individual is not a member of my family, but was a friend of the family.
